where i live, the speed limit for otorways is 130km/h, it is litle a bit more than 80mph. But i think around up to 85 the policeman may not ticket you. I usualy drive arond 90, or maybe 95. So when i notice the policecar, i can slow down to legal speed easily :). Even if i miss it, and get caught at 90, ticket is still not that horrible.

Hahaha, you should envy the germans for their autobahn.
Actualy i envy them too, but at least i live neraby.
When i travel true germany sometimes i floor the car, but above 120mph it is not so much fun in the long term. You have to concentrate on driving more. Passengers usualy dont enjoy the lateral G when turning as much as me:). And if there is a limit, you just have to brake harder. I found around 105mph is the perfect, somewhat fast and still relaxing cruising speed for me.

@paintdude258. I saw that Flower Mound Lewisville hwy sign. I'm in Garland bro. I had an 03 325i but I'm seriously considering a z4 like yours. What's the general reception ya get from mofos on DFW roads. Are they cool or are they dicks when they see ya? I know girls love the car though. I'd mostly have the top down at night. Holla. PEACE

I remember going a few miles an hour down a highway in Arizona in my Z4 2.5i. The world is just a blur at those speeds. Did the cop ticket you? What was the limit?
Ya i got a ticket for going 77 in a 65, but at the time i was soo relieved cause anything under 100 would have been good with me! Ticket was only a few hundred dollars!

i slammed on the brakes, and when i topped the hill where the cop radared me, he clocked me going 77mph in a 65mph zone, so yes, i did get a ticket. But i was ok with that ticket haha, seeing as how i didnt go to jail!
