  • Hey dude... I lived in Nashville for 15 years and left 3 years ago... do you know anything about a house explosion during the flood? I had a friend tell me there was news footage and I can't find it... Would you happen to know where and how I could get it? Thanks

  • @mamaschippers I'm not certain about any specific explosion. There were multiple housefires during the flood due to electricity that wasn't turned off before evacuation. It wouldn't suprise me if gas explosions happened due to the same reasons. Plenty of footage on the local news websites. Check WSMV website

  • Did Mill Creek ever flood right there? The flood of 1979 put 8 feet of water at that very intersection. It nearly covered the service station there and the market behind it. 40 ft semi Trailers full of auto parts ended up in the trees down Mill Creek.

  • @rockinredneck57 yes the creek flooded and overtook the bridge and all the business on Richards road. Its a complete mess.

  • great footage of the results of this horrible flood, thanks for posting it!

  • @4everphotographytn glad to do it. seems the national news services have just today caught up with what the local have been doing on the ground all weekend.

  • @mamaschippers that was a kid who went to my school and the explosion wasnt to bad. they just had some paint thinner or some chemicals out and a spark got to it so it blew up the garage. my brother went to it cause he is a firefighter and he said it was pretty bad not the worst. the house isnt there anymore

  • thanks for uploading

is nice vid but GET RID OF THAT BEARD!!!! I don't want to be mean or anything but it does not fit for you

young people should never have a beard (the sort of beard he has) it is only for old people when you have that one

  • @mamaschippers yes actually one of my friends home exploded due to a water heater and gasoline lighting up in 6 feet of water. it also destroyed the home next to it

  • The other flood was 79, not 77. But it did major damage then too. The other side then was an Amoco service station that had nearly 7 feet of water in it then. Washed away several 40 ft trailers with auto parts in them, landed in trees downstream in the creek. That's at least twice that area has been hit hard, wonder if they will make them relocate too? Probably not.

  • @CameronMcCasland Thanks so much for your reply!

  • lol u planted the car there so random

  • I hope things are getting better for all you guys in Tennessee!!!

  • @CameronMcCasland Dang, I love Fat Mo's! Mo was always really good to me over there. He'll be back there, that was his first shop.
