I landed with F company, 5th rangers this past year. 29th ID did an excellent job!

@ronaldweasleyfan55 unfortunately i couldn't make conneaut d-day for the past 2 years. I will this year though. For the past 2 ive been stuck in South Korea doing the whole guarding the south from the North with the army thing. Hope it will be awesome as it always was.

Just want to say some things since a few people want to throw a punch at reenactors over the internet for being "fat" or spending money on this stuff instead of "jewelry for there wife's of college funds" or being afraid of joining so instead they play army... Well alot of us are either 1. Not even out of high school. 2. retired and have kids who have kids. 3. In the military right now who DID go to basic like myself and many others... or take a long time and save what they can to do this.

Plus if you have to spend money on getting your wife jewelry all the time and constantly buying expensive gifts to keep someone around its probably safe to say your best bet would be to put on a uniform and join us on the beach.

i liked ike at one time ,, my parents voted for him also ,,,but now he has fallen from favor ,,, the bloodshed her orchestrated could have been avoided ,,,, scandinavia was were the invasion should have taken place ,,,,, he threw bodies at the germans in a senseless invasion ,,,, it was high profile and got him the presidency ,,,,, to bad al the high ranking powers did not let there egos go and do the right thing ,,,,,,,,,, the kids that invaded the beaches all should have become president

@stahlwerke doing the best you can from the stories from the vets among other things such as books, documentary's and then just the fact of "what do i do in combat".... well you run.... you get cover... you return fire.... move..... you know, war stuff.

@heettreet about half if not more are current military or are in high school/college. Maybe its the gear that gives the look? I don't know but i weight 145 and im 6'2" So i dont know what to tell you. I will say that some reenactors need a cargo chute if they ever go airborne though.
