In this vid we shoot several groups of propane balloons with an AR-15 rifle.

There is a source of ignition - the 50,000 Volt Bucket of Death - which is near the balloon we shoot in each case.

  • Can you give us the specs on that death bucket of yours?

  • @blak8819 50,000 volt bucket of death contains a 12V sealed lead acid battery powering a 555 timer circuit which is connected to the primary side of an automotive ignition coil connected to a spark plug. The timer fires the spark plug about 200 times a second. Google "ignition coil driver" for a how-to.

Before we built this, we had multiple misfires when the ignition source just didn't light the propane after the shot.

  • Just asking? you do plan on making a couple of 150 to 250 yard shots? just in case your target is more than 18 to 20 ft away?

  • @finderoftheway Tannerite + Propane vids are on the way.
