@Oranjeklant As long as I spend some time worshipping God everyday, I am happy. As per your free will, you cannot decide what is and isn't a waste of time. My idea of a wasted life is someone who spends 12+ playing games like WoW, etc. However, for a WoW player, s/he may find it worthwhile and meaningful. So, its purely based on one's upbringing, perception, amongst other variables.

Why did the Jews not remember which Pharaoh chased them? They remembered the names of lots of other heathen kings and petty despots and yet somehow for some strange reason they never recorded the names of any Pharaohs. Ever. We don't know which Pharaoh's dreams were interpreted by Joseph or which Pharaoh chased Moses either. Whenever there is a chance for myth to be confirmed by history the page is blank, it's almost as if they knew they were making shit up and didn't want to be caught out....
