Why Bozo's engine bogged

I look like an idiot, but I'm describing why, on the engine I built for a buddy's project car, the car would hit a certain amount of boost and then suddenly lose all power. After playing with all sorts of things I discovered the pre-turbo pipe was closing itself off under vacuum. Damn it I was an idiot.
