  • is it easier to obtain the toefl with a score of 230 or more, or advanced with b grade? i would really appreciate any answers.

  • The ibt TOEFL is scored on 120. That is 30 points for each section: Speaking/listening/reading/writing. I know that the cbt TOEFL is scored differently, but I am unaware of the level of difficulty that it involves, as I have only been teaching to prepare students for the ibt. So I am afraid I can't be of any help here. Sorry.

  • no way... all these tests with a british accent? no way it's the toeefl exam!!!!!!!!

  • Yes! It is the TOEFL, but you are right about the British accent. It is not common, but not unheard of either. I've heard that they started to implement this accent a few years ago, and nowadays, it is possible to be faced with such accent in the listening test... But it is quite unlikely. The book I have used for these lectures have exaggerated the amount of British accent lectures, so it is not representative of the truth. Sorry about that.
