He's absolutely right concerning education, especially higher education. The fact is you don't need 4 years to train people for 90 percent of the jobs they'll go on to do. Only the truly technical jobs like those in the hard sciences or in medicine require an education of 4 plus years. The rest is just padding...lots of useless 101 course so the college can bilk your parent or you out of an extra 50 thousand dollars.

@feifeishuangyu That's a strange problem isn't it? Totalitarian Islam is unimaginably cruel, yet it flies under the radar. If honor killings are mentioned in conversation, liberally educated white women actually rise in defense of these brutal sexist murderers. Not only is there a blind-spot for Islamic barbarism, but to even bring the fact up is itself a PC violation.
Shame on those who defend the evil cruelties of Islamofascism. Those who do are unconscionable, vile, and morally compromised.

@lauraleesmithagain I have also always thought this myself, i learned basically nothing in school from the age of five to sixteen , can you imagine how much this costs ?.
When i went to college the course dragged on and on at God knows what expense and didn't suit my preferred mode of learning.
I could read and write before i even went to school at 5 years old, why do people need to be there for 11 YEARS!! , its madness.
Most teachers are only two pages ahead of the students anyhow.

What he says about education is spot on. I've been saying that for years and people look at me like I'm crazy. Unfortunately it'll never happen. :( Education is big business now and colleges add more and more requirements for graduation so they can rake in more money. The average time a student spends in school in the US is 5 years now.. & everything points to it taking longer in the future. Also I find parents are reluctant to not baby their children for as long as possible.

I wish he would write more. Its so true how fluffy liberalism has become so pervasive in the Universities and colleges today, yet I have yet to meet a liberal as articulate and convincing as a Thomas Sowell, or a Mark Steyn.

"muslims who take non muslims as friends/protectors/allies are the vilest of creatures and are the losers who will burn in hell"
does muslim say amen after reading that?lol

this is a simple fact that most liberals have no answer for other then, "Arabs are oppressed so its ok." when in fact they have been imposing themselves thru war againts the west and asia minor/africa at every turn thru history!! and we continue to beat them.
-
"Islam predicates itself on the racist notion that all Jews are evil."
-No that is not correct. Islam claims that ALL non muslims AND muslims who take non muslims as friends/protectors/allies are the vilest of creatures and are the losers who will burn in hell.
You need to read the surrah's correctly my friend ;)
western is always the part of the problem. war-like creatures. sick.

Really? Interesting note:
Virtually EVERY armed conflict on the plant is somehow related to Islam conflicting with other cultures and religions. Islam has been at war since it's inception, and the Quran states war can only end when all the world is Islamic.
Islam predicates itself on the racist notion that all Jews are evil.
Sharia dictates death to apostates & those who insult Islam, it dictates beating one's wife if she misbehaves.
Yet I don't hear you calling them warlike or sick. Curious.
