All that WMG does is pissing of people here on youtube on a very big scale. That is BAD advertisement for THEM. Sooner or later their profits will drop because people don't want to support them. WMG will probably blame downloaders for that because that will make up a better excuse to their shareholders instead of the fact that they screwed up. This also applies to many other companies.
