Count to 31 on One Hand

A little trick I learned from my dad when I was a boy, passed down through the generations of software engineers.

Counting to 31 on one hand is done by using your fingers as bits, rather than as counting numbers. This extends the utility of your digits from 5 to 31.

Protip: using two hands will get you all the way to 1023.

I learned this a while back... it's about the same as converting your fingers into binary digits, and if you're really dexterous, then you can use each finger as a trinary digit, using the middle knuckle on each... or maybe using all 3 bend points if you're insanely dexterous XD
