@brieuse007 her mom had an afair with the tennis instructor at the club when she was married to John. She never told and was raised as John's daughter. When it was found out (can't remember when that was) he thought of her as his daugther. He raised and loved her. Mom ran off to france

who's Ashley's father? How'd she become related to the Abbott's since it's mentioned that Ashley isn't John's biological daughter.

There are too many standing ovations given to people that deserving. So when you see an Ovation, it no longer has that special quality it once had. Years ago a Standing Ovation was meant to acknowledge a very special moment or an Amazing, talented & Very famous persone appearing on stage. Legends like Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, Judy Garland these people had a larger than life persona & a Living Legend status. The luster is gone.

I miss seeing some of the other long time stars from the show like Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) Eric Braeden (Victor) Kate Linder (Esther).
