@eselpoppikakafesser That's all well and good, but as I said, this is NOT the national anthem of South Africa. You sang both too much and too little for that to be the case. You included verses which aren't part of the national anthem, and you completely left "Die Stem van Suid Afrika" out.
Why is it so difficult for you to simply say you sang "N'Kosi Sikeleli Africa"? You did so very nicely...it's just not the anthem.
@TiocfaidhArLa This is the only part most people are familiar with around the world. It's this melody that made it famous and touching. No one cares for that awkward crazy Die Stem van Suid Afrika part! It doesn't match the song.

the reason why we left out the other part is because we didn't like it and the translation was not very convincing

The sooner "Die Stem van Suid Afrika" is forgotten the better. They who even ussher it speak of shame and filth.
