@borizh i dont think ur neck one is emg 81.
maybe 85 or 60... u werent in the neck pos at all.. also usually 81's are in the bridge

@richogem: good observation! you're right: i wasn't in the neck position at all.. but they are both 81's. even though they are the same pickup, the location where the vibrations are picked up are different and so they sound a bit different.
