MechWarrior 4 Multiplayer problem

i have same problem!!! how have you fixed it ????

It was fixed by setting the connection speed to DIAL and lowered connection speed. If that doesn't fix your problem, what I did also was reseting the router and modem, then trying to reconnect. If you want to do another thing you can also just connect directly the cable modem to your PC and have a try at that. It worked for me and I never had the problem again.

Even if you are high speed cable, set your connection speed as dial up, or very slow dsl. Connections and game play both improve.

*sigh* Mechwarrior 4 mercs does not have multiplayer severs anymore...or if anyone has an ip or a patch ill gladly take it but...sad-face =(

yup it's fixed. No, no shell changing at that momment, i resolved it lowering the speed conection :)

It probably has to do with your provider like you said. I've been on 3 different connects in different locations and changed no settings, and some work well, some don't. Also try setting your connection to cable and 100 LAN and see if it helps you register better.
