I don't know who wore it first, but, I'm pretty sure that Josephine Baker had a version on her Bobino concert posters in the late '60s/early '70s.
Marlene Dietrich had gowns, and possibly bodysuits, like that, created by Jean Louis, for her cabaret act.
I'm just happy that these firm, fine ladies had the guts to wear nothing but gemstones covering their bodies.:)
