I truely truely empathize with this woman. What if The UK attacked Iraq but for some reason Iraq waged war against the U.S. and killed us and our families and shot up and bombed our towns we couldn't imagine it and would want immediate death for Iraqi's. These citizens had nothing to do with anything.

Actually she was 22. Age is not an excuse for ignorance. But yes you are correct that the majority of us were still upset about the 9/11 events, and we ignorantly and blindly believed that military action without thinking was rational. Those who opposed it were seen as traitors. If we all took the time to think about the consequences of going into Iraq, we could have spared the lives of our military men and women.
