Geek Knitting

I already knew how to knit but I had never thought of knitting Cassette tapes or Fiber Optic cables until I watched this!

i know someone who used strips of plastic bagstied together...it was kinda pointless since she made a plastic bag out of plastic bags =P

It's not that hard, they do this style of casting on a lot in Brazil and I believe Portugal and Italy depending on the region

I cast on like that but you don't have to do that loop at the beginning you just have to hold the yarn like you're doing in your hands and work the yarn like you're doing

I would have liked to see the fiber optics one, so I could see it lit up

Nice way to bridge the gap between technology and knitting. Am definitely going to try it with the old cassette tape now and see how it turns out.

What does knitting have to do with electronics or hacking...?
