Born 2 Die - Russell Leonce

Russell Léonce is officially releasing the Christmas Song Born 2 Die. The song was written in 2007 and received local radio airplay in his country Trinidad and Tobago, but was never made available to members of the public.

Russell released his debut album Culture of Love in March 2009. The album has just been nominated in the Gospel Category of the 9th Annual Independent Music Awards and is available for purchase on CD Baby, iTunes, Rhapsody and other download sites. With this album he gave away a free song entitled More Love and continues to make this song available to anyone who joins his website, www.russellleonce.com.

Once again Russell is showing appreciation to his newfound international fanbase by giving away Born 2 Die free of charge as his thank-you present to everyone for their support, love and prayers in 2009.

For Russell Léonce, Born 2 Die is more than just another Christmas song. When Russell wrote the song, he was thinking of how God the Father would go about reminding us of the purpose for sending His Son. In his words, it is the realisation of what Christmas is really about... It is all about Gods love for us and the lengths to which He would go to bring us back to him. Christmas is all about Salvations Plan.
