Nobody will ever have his voice. Layne's voice was haunting, yet beautiful to listen to. I truely miss him.

@KissMeImPunk well yeah....but he overdoesed on a speedball....which is a mixture of Heroin And Cocaine.....im not trying to be a know it all...just answering your qestion!

@KissMeImPunk Layne Thomas Staley died of a Heroine and Cocaine overdose. The mic is called a speedball, and the act of using both is known as speedballing.

It was said because he overdosed. That's the most explainable reason.

Most explainable? So it was never really known specifically how he died?

Well it was said that the drugs he did finally caught up to him. But considering the fact that his body wasn't found for two weeks, they couldn't determine the exact day of his passing. Yet there's not much doubt that it was an OD.
