I say, if they insist on a hetero relationship, there are tons of straight shows out there. Leave this one for us.

2:00 I never ever tought of them as a butch/femme couple (and still can't). They obviously are 2 women in love and commited to each other in their bodies, hearts and souls. It's undeniable (except for homophobes in denial I guess), and I which I can find this kind of love myself one day. But butch/femme? Both of them are very strong women, and protective to each other, but in different circumstances and in their own way.

Xena and Gabrielle were soulmates. I just re-watched all the episodes and the love they have for each other is a love I can only wish for at this point in my life. So who cares if they're both women, a love like that should never be ignored
