Using computers powerful enough to make predictions about the Earth's climate, Alien Worlds scientists modeled the weather and climate for a planet that would orbit a red dwarf star.

Based on the latest scientific results and deep space observations, two planets are identified to represent statistically likely celestial bodies capable of supporting life and are subsequently named Aurelia and Blue Moon.

  • This is Impossible.!!.., Even thought the Planet doesn't rotate, If the Planet is THAT close to the Sun that over Billions of Years The planet would be completely Heated up and be Hot from all sides!

  • @TheDrSurgeon What about something more along the lines of Deus Ex 2's Helios/JC Denton's ending or Eclipse Phase anarchists (direct democracy between heavily genetically/technologically enhanced humans--calling themselves Transhumanity within the setting--who make political consensus via a meshed network between implanted nano tech/optical computers that allows one to communicate with others over a thousand kilometers--through radio waves--and gather information at the speed of thought)?

  • I believe if we had one leader for Europa, one for Africa, one for Asia and one For Amerika and they don't have the thought of conquering each other it would be good

  • @mralanv I believe we can achieve that within the next 100 years if an effort is made but there is much corruption in the countries of the world and that needs to go first.

  • @TheDrSurgeon I get what you mean. An unified government is possible but I think it will be thousands of years before we reach that level of enlightenment. I hope that happens someday.

  • @mralanv There has been no attempt to unify earth before. The 'great' emperors at the time only had conquest on their mind. Even recent attempts at world domination have been motivated by hatred. I'm saying that we should have 1 leader, without the hatred that is associated with dictators.

  • @TheDrSurgeon the whole one leader thing didn't work on earth either. There have been many such attempts by emperors and kings but none of them were really beneficial to the common citizen. Even if our planet had a single leader rule over the whole world I doubt he'd put people's interest before his own agenda. He'd be blinded by power. It's in the human nature. Maybe they follow this type of government. There are many possibilities.

  • @mralanv Dictatorships are primitive and prevent things from evolving? wow just wow, think you might be thinking about communism there. Also think about this what if we just had 1 EARTH leader and not these pathetic countries which segregate humanity. Instead of wasting time on politics how about 1 leader in charge of earth with the interests of progressing humanity? I predict the smartest of Alien species follow such guidelines and would more interests in advancement than over stupid borders.

  • more lik skeetrat

  • @juki0h I refuse to believe we are the only ones as well. My guess is that they may not be as advance as we think they are. They might as well be primitive or living in a dictatorship that prevents technology from evolving.
