@browneyesf3 Yes, Im not stupid. Its not about the cost of using the phone. Its about 3 not being able to provide me with a service (ie text messaging from every foreign country I visited) and creaming 370 quid off me in costs for me to call THEIR technical support line to get it fixed. They have a 21 day SLA for resolution - when you get home they can no longer investigate. Now you tell me, how many people stay abroad for over 21 days. They are hapless idiots.
@v1mt0 havent you realized international roaming is expensive .... like didnt you ever check on the roaming charges before using your phone abroad ... and then you go and call someone else incompetent... seriously you must be kiddin :l
the 3 mobile phone company charged me 370 pound upon return from holiday thanks to charged calls to technical support. They took away the ability for me to contact my friends and family during a time of unrest in Thailand. the 3 mobile phone network are incompetent, devoid of technical knowledge. The one thing they are is cheap. You get what you pay for, or in my case, you get asked to pay for their stupidity.
Skype is brilliant if youve got friends and family abroad, you can chat and see them for as long as you like and it doesnt cost you a penny! I love it!
