04 Discovery with Flowmaster 40 Series and resonator replaced with straight pipe. Sounds better in person.

Has a nice rumble around 1.5 rpm. Pay attention to the aggressive throaty rumble at 0:38 and 0:41 seconds into the video. Cabin noise is much before 30mph but moderate after that.

  • I am looking at doing a similar set up to my Range Rover classic. Is that the 4.6 engine? also have you heard of any differences between super 40's and the super 44's on LRs

  • Yes, its a 4.6 engine. I believe the 44's are made for larger trucks with a more aggressive exhaust note.
