Trypanosoma brucei (Mitat1.1) is a single celled protozoan parasite that causes Human african trypanomiasis and Nagana in cattle. The movie is in slow motion the cells actually swim much faster. Images were captured by Dr. Torsten Ochsenreiter using a Zeiss Cell Observer Microscope (63x DIC objective) at the University of Georgia, Athens, USA. For more information on the parasite see wikipedia.
Actually the tail end is the front part of the parasite , cool huh! , I was looking for a video to proove that it moves forward where the tail is . Thanks so much for the video .

Is there a head end and tail end ? It seems like the skinny end was leading the movement. Maybe they dont have a front or back, I am pretty ignorant to the subject matter, very interested though.
