Unfortunately I remember this too. The death of a great adventure gaming empire. These days it seems like the only thing many "gamers" want is the next iteration of one FPS or another. So sad.

Monday February 22, 1999...a day that will forever live in infamy. This is the day adventure games died. Despite Sierra being snatched up by a parent company and used as a name to release crappy games under, Sierra will always be remembered from Mystery House all the way up to GK3.
