I made this recording of Dharrapuy for comparative purposes so that you can hear how the same instrument sounds played by different players. Dharrapuy is the 2nd didgeridoo player to be recorded for the Blue Bamboo Project.

The rhythm played by Dharrapuy is just a made-up piece and not a ceremonial song.

  • Not bamboo - I built a hundred didges with sculpted mouthpieces (hate the messy beeswax) out of everything I could find, including bamboo and eucalyptus. This is eucalyptus.

  • @bamboosa no way, it isn't eucalyptus, this is my instrument and I know!

  • thats not bamboo....

  • what is it then?

  • @ididjaustralia not bamboo at least, I don't know what, but bamboo has segments that make a ring coming out of the plant kind of like this: ____|____ instead of caving inwards like this yours is. Maybe it's some kind of "off-brand" of bamboo.

  • @folkflutist thanks for the info buddy!

  • @CatFlashBlue it represents animals clouds times and it so hard to get the breath and suck back to achieve these sounds so raw luv it

  • i like the rythm in this guys soul beter than than the other guy who played the same instrument. but it is just a preference

  • I don't understand didgeridoos. I just don't understand the music or the culture but it seems there are many people who share this... understanding, and they love it. It's like I'm excluded. I would love it if someone explained to me the greatness of the didgeridoo, because I don't see it.

  • @zwerty007 Lolwut? Calm down bro, I was joking.

  • @sunooii dubstep isn't anywhere near the quality of this though ;D

  • @eduardo13rocha PETO??? wtf?

    plus, he isn't a child therefore he can't do a 'pet(d)o stare'

  • @slipmat707 jesus christ, what a fucking pathetic comment.
