Emerald City Design - DiscoDamage

Emerald City collaborated with internationally renowned electro duo, Disco Damage to create their latest music video, London in Bangin. This unique electric duo have worked alongside extraordinary artists and dj's as
SamSparro, Robyn, Vula (Basement Jaxx), Tawiah (Mark Ronson), Peter Gelderblom, Eelke Kleijn, Love Grenades and Chicks on Speed.

Emerald City, in hearing the talent so obviously exhibited in this track, came to the table with ideas that conceptualised, directed, designed and animated. Transforming London into an electro city, a world far removed from the everyday enabled the team to create a city that transforms into a beauitful and magical CG landscape.

Rising above the earth and soaring through the skies, birds have been a symbol of power and freedom throughout the ages. Emerald City brought to life mesmerizing and mischievous 3D eagles. Their realistic demonour
as a dominate predator is magically replaced using light and particle effects to bring to life these CG creatures. The result is an exaggerated and beautiful collision of created fireworks and light explosions throughout the London
skyline.
