  • Hi Nadiia...I see one of my questions answered already but I'd also like to ask how you keep your figures so clean. I'm having a very hard time with tiny airborne lint getting on my figures. I'm working on a bride and groom right now and I have to paint the bride because of too much lint.

    also, is that copper wire?

Your work is 2nd to none. Absolutely amazing! Thank you for posting the videos and I hope you can do more for us. i love watching you work.

  • @salmalou Hi Sally and Thank you!I Answer to your question is added to the "part 1" description

    Nadiia

  • Ohhh. Because I tried my first sculpture with Sculpey and a few forums suggested that I should use varnish to get rid of the fingerprints and that it would help the acrylic paint stay on it. However when I painted, it barely stayed on there :( and that clay was darker than yours so I would have to paint all over.

  • to @saadsalmanzia

to make color lighter I mix translucent polymer clay and white in to a flash colored clay.

To fix your problem You may need to use Matte sealer on to cured clay before applying paint or You may need to look into a specific acrylics its designed to stick to a nonporous surfaces.

  • Is that varnish that you apply with the brush? Does it stop the clay from getting finger prints?

I am smoothing polymer clay with flat brash dipped in liquid polymer clay and clay softener

  • great

  • do you bake them before you put the hands?

  • amazing a true artist :0) great video

  • How do you bake it? I was thinking that the figure is too big to go in a polymer clay oven, but to put it into the oven where you bake foods, isn't that not good for your health?

  • спасибо большое-замечательно,и у Вас красивая кукла получилась!!!!

  • AND YOU MADE A BJD? OMG YOUR AMAZING!!! ^///^

  • im sorry i meant to ask what clay materials are you using. like the names of the clay and the version. also is that a certain polymer clay liquid and softener? im so sorry. if you can please answer.

  • im sorry but what are the exact clays that you used for this sculpt? it takes me forever to find the perfect polymer clay T.T

  • Nadiia, your hands when they're working are a delight to watch. I note the deft way you hold your tools & your delicate touch. Very graceful movements. To anyone wanting to learn how to do this sort of work: Watch Nadiia's hands & fingers closely & imitate those postures & movements. They are critical to her work being so cunning when finished. Thanks Nadiia for the valuable information & instruction you provide; as well as the inspiration. :-)
