Right Here In Boston - A Jick Story - Ep.1 {The Meeting}

Okay, I'm gonna make a Jick series for the people who want me to. This is he first episode (duh)

Joe is 24
Nick is 21
Setting:
Boston Present Time Nicks Apartment

NICKS POV:
I looked outside at the snow covered streets and sidewalks then back to Kelsi. She's my 4 year old angel. The mom left us when she was born. But it only made the 2 of us closer. There's nothing more adorable than her. I handed the baby sitter her pay in advance, kissed Kelsi's little forehead, then walked out the door. It was freezing. 9 degrees outside. That's why I had to leave Kelsi at home. I didn't want her to be cold. I walked into the diner and sat down at a table by the window. It was my normal table in the corner by the window. I ordered my food and then got my laptop out and started typing. I'm a writer. I hate to use the word famous, but I'm that too. People are used to me around here. I write novels about random realistic things. I'm working on my new book, The Last Song (its an amazing book). I looked up when I heard the bell on the door ring. I georgous man walked in and started looking around for an empty seat...there wasn't one. He saw me and I motioned him over. He shyly walked over and stoof infront of the table.
Nick: You can sit here if you want.
???: Thanks.
Nick: *nodds* Do you come here often?
???: No, I just moved here yesterday.
Nick: Oh. I'm Nick. *sticks his hand out*
???: I'm Joe. *shakes his hand and they both feel sparks but they both ignore them (they both know their gay, btw)*
Nick: Where did you move from?
Joe: New Jersey.
Nick: Cool. My parent's were born there.....I think.
Joe: *laughs* Cool. *phone rings* Hello...*smiles* Hey sweety.
NICKS POV:
Damn. He's taken.
Joe: Yeah. *smiles* Okay. Be careful. Love you. Bye. *hangs up* Sorry.
Nick: *smiles* It's okay. Your wife?
Joe: No. No, no, no. My daughter. She wanted to let me know she was gonna watch Barney.
Nick: *smiles* Mine loves that show too.
Joe: How old?
Nick: 4. You?
Joe: 6.
Nick: *nodds* So, are you a single father?
Joe: Yeah. Girlfriend left us.
Nick: Us too.
Joe: I'm sure mine left for a better reason.
Nick: What's your reason?
Joe: I'm kinda....Gay.
NICKS POV:
YES!
Nick: *chuckles* That's why mine left me. I mean, I was totally all for being friends with her but, she didn't like the idea.
Joe: Me too. I don't get it. I thought girls LOVED having guy friends that were gay.
Nick: *nodds and smiles* Yeah.
Joe: So, what's your daughters name?
Nick: Kelsi. Your's?
Joe: Lea.
Nick: Awww. That's so cute.
Joe: *smiles* She like's it. Her full name is AnnaLea but she likes Lea.
Nick: *nodds* It's just Kelsi.
Joe: *laughs* It's a cute name.
Nick: Yeah. I picked it out. It fit her look.
*The waitress comes and set's Nick's food down then looks at Joe and smiles*
Waitress: *flirty* Can I get you anything...Sir?
Joe: *smiles* Ummm, what he's having.
*The waitress smiles and walks away*
Joe: Wow.
Nick: *chuckles* Does that happen a lot?
Joe: Yeah. It's kind of embarrasing.
Nick: Well, you can't blame them.
*Joe looks down and blushes a little*
