Internet Explorer was famous because of unstability and lag, and people since then migrate to Firefox and Chrome. But this time, Microsoft deploys their new prototype, the IE9. Will this browser defeat other browsers in terms of speed and stability?

Tested along with:
- Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta
- Google Chrome 6
- Safari 5

  • The time that is required by IE9 to launch does depend partially on how many add-ons have been loaded. This comparison is not really fair.

  • @thljcl Yeah, and no add-ons too in the other three browsers.

  • Try to open ie9 in about:tabs page as you did with chrome to see the difference...:)

  • @vlasis I should have set it that way, but I'm too lazy to set it back.

  • @iskandarzul98 you need upgrade to windows 7 cas it better then xp

  • chrome started with a blank page, one thing, plus chrome 6 was not a Beta, other browsers were Beta. this is not fair and is an invalid test.

  • Chrome10 !!!

  • @iskandarzul98 ONLY FOR WINDOWS VISTA & WINDOWS 7!

  • HDD capacity is not a bearing.

  • chrome starting with just a blank page ... is this fair ?

  • @GoldenIllusions It's probably because it's beta.

  • @SuperiorBeen i'm having a problem that many many others are having with IE9 which sucks cause i love it... laggy poker playing on facebook, blurred bejeweled pieces on facebook etc... i uninstalled in and went back to IE8 and the problem was gone.

  • WOW DUDE NICE VID!!! I am a google chrome user and i would like to use Internet Explorer 9 but i can't because I T DOES'NT WORK IN XP!!!!!!!!!
