She was in the competition, but was voted off a couple of weeks before this was filmed. She had a great voice and was my sister's first favorite (before Laura) - Kate was assigned a baby blue color to wear during this competition. As you probably know, Kate went on to play Margot on Broadway's Legally Blonde. We've seen it twice, and have met her outside the stage door, and she was very nice and pretty.
