Transformers 2 Got Brotherized (or Niggerized)

Of all the Positive Transformer cast members, why did the brothers have to curse, have a gold tooth and not be able to read. Just damn! I grew up watching the Transformers. They did not curse and were not buffoons. In this movie you got Black on Black Violence (Brother against Brother scene). They walk like monkeys (pants sagging), they curse and call men Bitches. Somebody tell BET, Sorry Parents and Hollywood, they have f&*%ed the persona of the Black Man. In the past, it was a myth (The Jeffersons, Good Times). Now we actually do it, emulate thug rappers who are as about as bright as a sack of burnt out light bulbs with all the personality of dry wall. Lord Help Us. TMOT

I can see where you're coming from.. but I see more white kids acting like the twins. The twins were 'young' Autobots, who where immature, and trying to fit in to a human culture they didnt really know anything about.

On a side note, one of the twins, Mudflap, was voiced by a black guy.. who also did 'non-racist' characters in TF Part 1 and Part 3 as well. I'm sure to him it was just acting.. I would supply a voice a redneck hillbilly if they paid me just as well.

we have to respect each other's perspective in this. i grew up on transformers, too, and i also was unimpressed, to say the least, with the twins. i'm black with an extensive vocabulary and an admittedly cynical world view. that gives me my particular perspective on this issue, but i can undertand one's perspective who doesn't see offense in the twins. tmotofga is a mature black man that, by mere fact of his apparent age, has seen some things with race in america. just hear each other out.

For my observation it is obvious in magazine ads, movies, I've even seen it in the WatchTower (a religious pamphlet) where blacks are visably and selectively placed 'down', underneath a white male, as a side kick to a white male, or in adoration to a white male. I see it as an extreme but backwards compliment. I will make a racist statement but from my own observation blacks (to me) are hands down physically and emotionally superior to whites. Whites someday will relax with this. I'm white.

wow im glad i wasnt the only one who noticed the twins being very stereotype like.although i wonder if anyone here also noticed in the first movie that the only autobot to get killed was jazz atleast i think that was his name

@tmotofga that is just comedic relief in the movie. believe it or not, many other stereotypes are exemplified in the transformers series as well (particularly t2 which had terrible loop holes). it's called comedic relief for a reason. every culture (nationality) has a personality that is obsessive/obnoxious and they chose to use blacks because blacks are culturally 'cool', not because they hate you. plus the 2 bots were portrayed as KIDS. anyone who takes this movie that seriously is a dumb ass.
