That's the way to get around the city or anywhere else, 5 mile ride shoudl take you no more than 15-20 min, try that in the city at rush hour by car and see for your self

I hope more people start riding bicycles to get around, so that cities start arranging the street more friendly to cyclists.
I still drive my truck and used to fill a tank every week but since start using bicycle more often, once every 4 weeks, getting close to 5 weeks.
