Oh. I should have thought of that. I've seen that awful flickering before during videos when the camera pans over tvs and such.

The horrid flickering will be because it is being recorded by a camera, and the lasers wont sync correctly with said camera. Its the same with scan lines when recording a television or computer monitor at different sync rates.
