To view the 3D in this animation, cross your eyes while looking at the video until a "third" clear 3D image comes into view between the other two.

I've created a couple of 3D animations out of standard landscapes, however this time I crafted all of the land manually to ensure lots of potential "three dimensional stuff" to fly around.

Granted, I still haven't got the greatest textures or realism... maybe I'll work on that some other time.

(This took about 12 days to render on my crap PC btw... heh... don't expect another one anytime soon.)

The original avi will temporarily be at: http://www.rubbertoe.com/private/newstereoland.avi

  • add the text below into your tags, so that youtube can utilize the 3d features.

    yt3d:enable=true

  • Thanks for the advice... it didn't work on this one, but the other higher resolution 3d animation I did works well with it. I had no idea there was such a feature. (I don't have it enabled here, since it stretches the animation too wide)

  • I'm getting ready to make a second one.... much higher resolution, should qualify for "HD" mode here.. about the same length, with a little more natural - yet still 3d-ish - landscape. :-)

  • FOCUS, FUCKING EYE!!!

  • The yt3d enabled looks great!

  • ffs zoom your page out to 75% and stop being a baby.

  • this is an ANAGLIF, not stereo!!!(

  • i didnt really get a good stereoscopic experience, nice try but this vid is weak.

  • Ouch! This one really hurt my head. Can the many people who apparently enjoyed it please explain how they managed to get the most out of it?

P.S. A pain in the eyes, I agree. But calling someone a "tard" (Retard? Turd? What?) scarcely helps.
