@AtlasShruggery Abe Lincoln was not a good choice to compare to. Abe freed slaves in the south not the north. He raised tariff tax from 21% to over 40% on the south to help the north. This is why we had a civil war. By the way the head General for the south never bought a slave but the head General for the north did free his even after the war ended. He waited until the constitution was changed. Food for thought.

@cwoggon That's sad but true. When I was little it was something incredible like being an astronaut. Now it means nothing. Who would have thought you could get a Nobel Peace prize for doing nothing and now actually doing the opposite of peace. I am a former Marine 3/2 Kilo. Bring our guys home. Hail to Chief.

@myfingerisup No side is stupid. If the democrats 50's - 60's had it their way Obama wouldn't even be president nor would there be integration between blacks and white and Jim Crow law would still be around. Weird right?
