according to you, shame on us if we breed shortlegged cats... but you think it's ok to breed short legged dogs like weiner dogs and corgis? its not a deformitie and it doesn't effect how the cats run or jump either. i could say flat faced cats are deformed or that hairless cats are deformed.. but a deformitie is just ones personal view of something different from the norm and it's simply evolution

@tjp121 It's not evolution...It's humans tampering with nature. It DOES affect the quality of life of the animal. Persians and pugs (and other animals with flat faces) often have/develop breathing problems due to their flat faces. Dog shows are beginning to recognize these things as problems and are judging more based on health over look. Cat shows should do the same. It DOES affect the health of the animal. The more a cat is changed, the more unhealthy it is. Period.

Doesn't mean I think there is anything bad about it though. Short-legged cats are still healthy and playful n_n
