CLO Christmas 2009

Every year the Community Liaison Office of US Embassy Tokyo organizes an event to make and decorate Christmas stockings for the members of our Marine Security Guard Detachment. The stockings are filled with gifts from the Embassy community as a small way of expressing our appreciation for our wonderful Marine Guards. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to our Marine Security Guards!!

Thanks for the great comments. Unfortunately, the night the Ambassador, Mrs. Roos and the CLO handed out the stockings, I was not able to cover the event.  However, I was there last year and it was really a great event. Again, thanks for the nice comments. Ann K. (filmmaker wannabe)

This is awesome. As a former MSG I want to say thank you. You guys really make a difference. More then you may know. Alot of the MSG's are young and never spent a holiday away from the family and Embassy duty can make them feel isolated and things like this really make a difference
