Missing the Big Picture is a short animated film noir about a police detective and a master thief playing a game of chess. The trailer features music by Pierre Gerwig Langer and narration by Brian Post. The film is currently in production and will be completed in early 2012.
The film will star Ed Khoo, Brian Post and Nicholas Louie, with an original score by Frej Wedlund. The film is directed and animated by Jim Merchant and written by Jim Merchant and Jordan Colston.

The film is being animated and rendered entirely in the Poser Pro program and editing and compositing is being done in Sony Vegas.
@corda1983 In short, yes, poser pro was the only program used for the animation including camera movement. The only elements that were added outside poser were clouds, fog and rain which were composited in vegas. With a large scene with multiple figures and props things slow down a lot, but that's more a limitation of my computer than the program. [intel q6600 quad-core w/6gigs ram]

Can Poser do all the character/background stuff and camera movement? I'm interested in using Poser Pro 2012 as a previz tool but wondered if it was able to handle characters, landscapes, backgrounds and complex camera movement etc,
