Flyin' Ryan takes his visiting brother Ramil on one of his favorite rides. Peter, SoBe, Fernando and Steve join the ride. Ryan meets Carlos for the second time on the trail. Doug, a fellow cyclist, tells us about a route to Pasadena. Ramil rides Ryan's Fuji Team full carbon bike with Mavic K10 wheelset. Ryan rides his Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3 with Easton EC90 wheels. Peter rides his Fuji Roubaix and Steve rides his Fuji Toyota United Team Bike with Reynolds MV32s. A map of this ride is shown on the Google map link below.

  • this is a great route car free trails, wish we have that here in NJ .. what's the distance one way ?

  • @nismosr It's about 34 miles one way

  • wow pls check out our channel we live in that same area!

  • @TehFixedTV Have you checked out "To Live and Ride in LA"? You might enjoy the video.

  • Quality vid. What speed were you guys averaging? I'm heading out right now to ride this trail for the first time, but the south section.

  • @blastofo On our rides I allow one hour for every 10 miles we ride. It usually works out with all the stops we make. If your looking to go south the Rio Hondo and LA river trails are a bit nicer. The San Gabriel has some narrow dark tunnels. Check out the "Road Cycling in California - Whittier to Long Beach - Bike Trail Loop"

  • @sgsgent My whole crew has seen that movie its really good

  • After riding it for the first time, my opinion of it, at least the south section, is it's okay. I started at PCH and went up to Santa Fe Springs. The first half was peaceful and scenic, but the pavement was in really bad shape for much of it, the second half the pavement was better, but it passed through some areas that looked unsafe crime wise. Though your video clearly shows the upper section looks way better. Ill have to try that area.

  • Nice TT Bars.

  • hahah Fernando is not giving a shit,, he just wants to lose wight
