I earned the Navy Cross in 68 in Vietnam and when he gives it away that is one hell of a honor and show of respect. I don't believe I could ever give mine away.

@rocamia2001 Yeah, because that's what it all comes down to doesn't it? The US doesn't fight for world peace, or the improvement of humankind, but to protect it's own interests. Probably why the US doesn't even adhere to international law, but expect others to do so unconditionally. Americans have just been indoctrinated to think their country is awesome, while in reality it has no more standing then any other 3rd world country, with the highest criminal rates ever.
