I feel sad for Adam, I really do.
And don't get me wrong, I love this song...
But look at it this way,
Micheal Jackson had haters, Adam has haters, as does Justin Bieber, Snooki, Ke$ha and all the other crap out there. Differing opinions doesn't mean rude, just different preferences. Why hate others for not liking what you like? Haters gonna hate, but if you hate the haters, you're no better than them.

I went to my school's homecoming dance and my crush was there with his girlfriend...i got up to dance and then this song came on. I walked by my crush slow dancing with his gf and said 'this song makes me sad.' I sat back down and sang to this song while watching him and his gf dancing. He didn't know that this was our song :'(
