Halo: First Contact trailer

I noticed a common thread between the Halo video games and the Star Trek franchise, in that both have an interstellar menace that converts fallen enemies into more soldiers and essentially function as "space zombies". They are called the Flood and the Borg, respectively, and while one is biological and the other distinctly technological, they've got more similarities than differences. In that vein, I took the audio from the excellent 'Star Trek: First Contact' trailer and synced it to clips from the three 'Halo' trilogy games.

The players: Master Chief is Captain Picard, Cortana is Lily, Johnson is Data (don't ask me why I picked him, 'cept that he shows up in cinematics a lot), Lord Hood is Cochrane, the Arbiter is Worf, and Gravemind fulfills the role of the seductive Borg Queen (ewwww.) Originally I planned on having all the flashbacks be from Halo 1 and 2, with the 'present' aspects being Halo 3 graphics, but I abandoned that idea for more interesting shots (you'll still see its influence in some clips, though.) Still haunted by his past encounters with the Flood, when they attack Earth the Master Chief is ready to fight until the end.
