You can change just the pipes, but it will make your bike run leaner. It would be cool to just do pipes and put the bike on a dyno, to see if it really makes that big a difference.

I did the fuelpak and a k&n air filter. I would be really interested to see what a dyno shows.

At the end of the day it's worth it, the bike runs a bit meaner and sounds really good.

i looked for the kit but can only find it for the dyna, is that the same kit ? by the way love the scooter, ive got the same basic thing, just orange and 20 inch apes with 4 inch risers, white walls, custom pipes too.

Yup same as the dyna. I'd love to see your bike, I was planning on getting whitewalls when I'm ready for new tires. Bigger bars would be cool too. You should post a video of your bike on here

It doesn't take long to install, the shocks are fairly straightforward, pretty quick. The air compressor mounts to that bottom of the frame, just in front of the rear tire. Then routing your lines, connecting to battery, and installing the handlebar switch.

The pipes are vance and hines short shots, also added a fuelpak (fuel management chip) and stage 1 airfilter

albebout, This may sound like a crazy question, but with the air suspension, do you get a more comfortable ride on the nightster compared to other harley sportsters, and the front gaiters on it provide for smoother riding and handling??? Just curious on that.
