That solo was amazing but I couldn't help but laugh when he just started making random noise with the gongs.

I remembered my friend "boligoma". He used to say, Carl Palmer was his virtual drum teacher. Only listening CP, my friend learnt to play. He was a ELP fan. Wherever he is.

Sorry, Buddy Rich's stick technique was beautiful but his drums often didn't sound beautiful. For example: his use of the cymbals was rather lame to me.
Carl Palmer made the whole kit absolutely sing. Did I forget about Rich? Absolutely not! But Buddy Rich is no Carl Palmer.

I HAVE TO ADMIT HE WAS WHY I BECAME A DRUMMER, IT WAS I ADMIT HE WHO WHEN AT AGE 7, I STUCK ON IN GRANDDAD'S LP COLLECTION WELCOM BACK 3 SET, PLAYED IT AND THAT WAS IT!!!! FUCK ME I WAS IN LOVE AND HAVE PLAYED LIKE AMACHINE EVER SINCE. STILL MY YOU TUBE IS RECORDED SO BADLY AND THE TWO YEARS OFF SUCKED AS WELL BUT HEY MAN WITHOUT HE I'D BE DRUM LESS :) SO HE MAY HAVE ISSUES BUT WHOS STYLE ISN'T ISSUE FILLED , GOOD ON YOU POULMY GLENN FLETCHER NZ DRUMMER
