It looks like they never answered you in 2 years. It looks the panels are made of "corrugated" plastic. It's like corrugated cardboard but plastic instead of paper and it's about 1/2" to 3/4" thick. The ribs inside make it stronger perpendicular to the direction they run. The ribs also trap air inside the panels and would provide a bit of insulation.
