Christmas Day 1970. From Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Phoenix, Arizona. Look at Neal Walk's ugly hair over the shoulders and the back. It doesn't matter if someone has so many hair in his body, but today it's impossible to watch a so natural basketball player.

ah the good ole days, before basketball turned into "basketmaul" the players back then actually had to guard someone without mauling them. Back then You were not to make physical contact with the player who had the ball or a foul was called. They used finesse and skills to defend . Nowadays, a foul isn't called unless they knock the guys front teeth out. The NBA needs to define what a foul is. period.
btw, my Dad graduated from KU. He said one day he was going down a hallway and he looked up to see Wilt coming his way the other direction. He was in awe...
cbshelby FROM Kansas here. Great stuff here. I've been watching your Pete vids here and I can remember, oh man he was what we dreamed of being as little boys. Thanks. Was suprised at your name! You know when I was in 5,6,7,8 grade I always went to Ted Owens Jayhawk BBall camp every summer for about a month. Once a week they'd trot out this old film footage they had in the vault at KU and we saw AMAZING film of Wilt. One he grabs the board and starts the break himself til he gets past midcourt
