A time-lapse of Melinda and me making assembling and decorating our gingerbread house. I wish I had had the foresight to get a time-lapse of the mixing of the dough, and cutting and baking of the pieces.
We made the dough by hand according to Melinda's mom's recipe, then designed the structure using maths and cardboard, which we then used as a template for cutting the pieces.
The video was all shot at 1fps, which gave me about 7 minutes of footage which represents about 3 or 4 hours of real time. I then edited the video to around 3 minutes by speeding up parts of it from 30x to 90x.
And I finally got to use the time lapse function on my SMX-F40 for something!
