Life for most Iraqis has become a nightmare.Ironically, the Iraqi treasury is brimming with billions of petrodollars. Is this just a case of incompetence and mismanagement or is the problem simply too big for the Iraqi government to handle?

fuck iraq and all the arab lands and the rest of you nasty ass dune coons. Its fucking 2009 and you dumbasses are still wiping your ass bare handed, and for some reason the rest of the "Civilized World" are the filthy infidels. As for the number of US troops in Iraq comapared to Afghanistan.... What did you expect? Afghanistan fell fast and is much easier to police. The Americans have secured the oil pipeline they wanted and established military bases along the pipeline. Mission accomplished.

Iraq is not just a place they invaded, it's a staging ground for the invasion of Iran. They needed a cooling off period in between.

Also the United States has the 3rd largest population on the planet. That means Lots of troops.

The long run is where you have to worry.

The current generation of western conquerers are taking control of your region 1 country at a time. They will hand the job of policing that region against the wills of a bitching peace loving population (Like wildawake) who don't understand empires are built on dirty deeds, not good intentions.

But my generation is different.

Iraqi oil wasn't enough to fix the crumbling American economy. They need more. It's not financially viable to transport all those troops over there for only 1 war and then payto transport them home when enough resources have not been procured.

Iran will get attacked by Israel and the United States very soon. It will be much like 1991 Iraqi war. Iran will try to fight back, launch everything at Israel, but it will get shot down. Iran bombed. Occupation to follow.

I have no illusions about Iraq. The USA wanted to show it's might and had to justify the amount of money it spends on it's military. Saddam wasn't behaving in trade talks so they made up BS and invaded. They aren't going to leave either FYI. American miltary policy is to set up military bases in "liberated" countries. There will be American troops in Iraq to keep an eye on things from now till the end of their empire.

I'm a realist.

The popular belief is ill-founded. Iraq used to provinces in the Ottoman Empire. That empire lasted more than 500 years. After WW I, the western powers moved in to control the oil and set up ruthless puppet leaders who would do their bidding. In many cases, what you refer to as "savage nations" are in fact places brutalised and destabilized by Western military invasion and subsequent occupatation. Iraq is just one of many. You speak casually of mass murder. You are disgusting.

Know that many Americans are AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN against this occupation.We were misled...told we were going to help.We saw Iraqi people cheering when Sadam was toppled.Now we know that,we too,were lied to.I also agree with comments of part 1 of this program that these "experts" seem as bought as our own national news programs.Children missing school, and digging in trash for something to sell are future terrorists we are developing.I'm so sorry.And also SO VERY ashamed to be American.

In the west, we have grown very tired of policing the world and trying to spread morality to cultures that throw parades to celebrate the death of non-military targets. (Sept 11)

There is a popular belief growing that we cannot possibly change the morality of savage nations. As such my generation (30-40 years old) is seeing a very strong movement to simply use weapons of mass destruction to remove cancerous cultures from the planet. Iraq is lucky to still exist. Period.
