  • @Seleuce I disagree. Those cages aren't too small and he only has one rabbit in each cage. His setup looks perfectly fine to me. I personally would have the cages up higher off the ground to protect them from predators and put a top over the cages, but the sizes are fine. I enjoyed this video! I will also say that rabbits are perfectly capable of taking care of more than 8 kits, but if you feel the doe has too many babies you can foster them to another doe with a smaller litter.

  • the wife and i have been thinking about raising rabbits and with all the good vids i'v seen about it like yours. i think we will pick 2 up this spring.

  • listen clintonmedic80 i dont agree with and i think its wrong, but i wont hack this youtube account. You can do this but i think its wrong.

  • good but try rassing brown rabbits for food and whit rabbits for pets gotme

  • you did good mon.....

  • @RobertoLane yes its called line breeding and it can help blood lines or hurt blood lines depending on qualities. But remember to only breed healthy animals.

  • Killing anything more then 8 in a litter is dumb advice, I know people who have had multiple litters from a doe who did 10. It would be foolish to not give them a chance and it would be to your advantage if they succeed.

  • @MBJB07 kindles means when the rabbit gives birth.. like when dogs whelp, etc.

Those ARE Newzealands :) I'm fond of the Californians, Flemish Giants.
